A Star Wars Experience

The countdown of my last week seems to be going slower than humanly possible, with 4 days left until I arrive at Disney World, and six days left until I check-in!  I thought I would take the opportunity to share a unique and interesting experience I had just last week!  While visiting New York City, I had the opportunity to go through go “Star Wars and the Power of the Costume” exhibit.  I saw real costumes and props used in all seven Star Wars movies.  This was especially exciting, considering Disney now owns Star Wars, and The Force Awakens is still relatively new.  Below you will find some of my favorite pictures of the exhibit!

In the words of the greeter of the exhibit, “It will take the average person 45 minutes to an hour to go through the exhibit.  It will take a Star Wars fan four to five hours.”  I did not include every single picture, because the exhibit was very extensive.  We also could not use flash, due to the sensitivity of some of the fabrics.

I did enjoy my time in the exhibit very much, and was in it for just under an hour and a half.  (More than the average person, but not quite the time of a die-hard fan, I guess!)  Being able to see all of this did make me much more excited to be in Disney, especially considering the Star Wars expansions coming up this spring!
